CIRKOPOLIS, the new show by Cirque Éloize transports us to a world in which fantasy comes up against an all too humdrum reality. But the monotony of the workaday world will be shattered in a most spectacular and joyful way!
In the heart of a factory-city, acrobats and multidisciplinary artists defy the laws of gravity, virtuosity, and agility to challenge the limits imposed on them and rebuild their lives. “Entering Cirkopolis is all about letting go and allowing yourself to be borne aloft by hope,” explains Jeannot Painchaud, creative director of Cirque Éloize, who also co-directs the show with choreographer Dave Saint-Pierre.
